1880’s Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantel Clock Which Has Just Been Professionally Cleaned, Oiled, and Serviced by a long established local Clock Shop. Other than a few small areas of surface damage to the adamantine (please see images) the clok is in Very Good++ or Somewhat Better Condition. This clock kept time in a [nearby] small town’s café for many years; the cafe’s customers knew the owner kept a close eye on his clock and its accuracy so they would often set their watches to the time on this clock. After a little more than 50 years, the owner decided to sell his café c. 1957 but took his clock (this clock) with him. A wonderful old clock with a pleasant history.
