Seth Thomas Antique Joker Carriage Clock Nickel Plate Brass W/Alarm Needs TLC. Listing an Antique Seth Thomas Carriage Clock Brass Case, Nickel Plated. It has been over wound, by the previous owner and not in working order. The case is in extra nice condition. Part of an old gum label is on the top. The nickel plating has been worn off the top of case and slightly worn all over. The handle is in good order as well as the door. The movement is very clean. Has both winding keys. There are no chips cracks or breaks on the glass. The case size is 5 x 3 1/2 x 7 to the top of the handle. Please look close at the pictures as they are part of the description. Antique Circa 1860s – 1870s American Clock Company Iron Front Parlor Mantle Clock – NEEDS HELP – FINISH ME – UNUSUAL. Features – Has original finish with mother of pearl inlay 19″ tall X 13″ VERY Decorative and heavy. Prior owner was in the process of trying to complete this clock. The wood backing is era correct to the iron frame but not original to the frame but it works as a backing. I believe the iron front to be an American Clock Company front which will also fit with the backing cause it has original American Clock Co paper inside and probably why the original owner choose it for to go with the front. High quality example for the era. Clock Body – Condition is as seen – Please see ALL photos you be the judge. Superb Example visually – No chips, cracks or damage to be found in the housing. This is an antique Seth Thomas mantle or desk clock made of wood with wood burned designs, brass trim and 4 copper feet. Rectangular measuring 12″ long x 7″ wide x 11 tall. Stamped Seth Thomas on the white clock face. Needs work such as the clock workings, a new or repaired clock face, wood back, and a new glass as its original glass developed a crack in transit.
