Operating condition – I have many clocks to test and limited time to do so – Tested – The alarm is functioning as intended and i have run this clock for over a day (see Video). Please understand i do not know the service history of this clock, and it MAY need service in the future for long term optimal operation. If you are a clock collector you may see that it is exact. This clock was bought by a rich man in the Emile Jacot jewelry in Quebec city Quebec, Canada on october 6 1913 and there is the jeweler signature on back of clock. All 3 hands hour minutes and second are original. The clock measures 40 inches tall, the top part with mechanism measures 13 inches large x 13 inches high, the lowest part with the pendulom measures 11 inches large x 16 inches long and the whole clock measures 5 inches thick, the 2 locks for the top and bottom part are present and do work. The size of the mechanism is 40 it is printed on the clock mechanism, it is also printed made in the U”S”America with the seth thomas logo. On the chime mechanism it is printed patented may 9 1882. I have a couple of small video that shows that it works and we can hear the striking sound loud. Extreme care will be taken for wrapping this clock. I have several more pictures of the clock itself and of the wrapping process. The hands I have several additional pictures of the clock itself and packing process so ask a question so I may send them. Here is the wrapping process excplained, I begin by removing the pendulom with his arm, then I separate the pendulom itself from the arm and wrap the pendulom with the small brass part under it in a small box of top of the clock the key to unlock doors is also in this box so you need to open this box to access the key to unlock doors to remove protection inside the clock itself with the wood top decoration, then I remove the pin that maintain the hands and put the hands in a small inside the lower part of the clock well padded, then I put memory foam to impeach the mechanism to move and additional memory foam so the chime and hammer does not move finally I put 2 rools of scotttowels inside the lower part of the clock so the glass does not move to the inside, then I put memory foam between dial and rounded glass by the inside and by the outside so glass does not move either way, then 2 additional row of memory foam over top then an other bubbles and 2 inches of memory foam on top too.
