The clock is in nice condition with no major issues. It appears that it had a dedication plate on the stand, just below the clock. It could be color matched pretty easily, but it’s not noticeable enough to worry about. Mechanically the clock is mostly untested. It was wound and ticked while it was being listed. When the hands were cycled it chimed. This is a nice heavy clock issued by Seth Thomas and it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!

The clock has some scratches on its face that can be seen in the pictures. It has a great patina and has not been cleaned. I was able to get this clock running and it has ran nonstop for the past 24 hours. Not sure how well it holds time. The bell tries to work, and makes a noise perhaps it needs some cleaning and love, not sure. Comes with the key.

An Antique SIMPLEX-Time Recorder Clock-Ca. 1900-To Restore-Seth Thomas 15 or 30 day #50 Movement complete & original needing new mainsprings. The clock having been stored in a barn for years it has a number of issues but restorable. The doors need glass. The top door has one joint that needs glue. The bottom board of the case has loose veneer. The top corners of the front of the case both has a chip pc. The bottom steel plate needs screws. Having its original pendulum & old original finish.
