This is a rare antique Seth Thomas No. 295 mantel clock, dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s. It features a beautifully carved wooden case with ornate brass details, lion paw feet, and classical column elements. The original mechanical movement is marked Made in U. America and includes both the pendulum and bell/gong chime. Condition: Complete and all-original, but not currently running. The partial model label remains on the inside. This clock is a fantastic display piece as-is, or an excellent candidate for restoration.

Some scratches on wooden case, damage/repair at the 12 o’clock position on the porcelain face (photo 14). Clock works, keeps time and chimes at the 12 & 6 o’clock positions. The mechanism is marked ST 48R (photo 11). Key & Pendulum included. Clock measures 11 1/2″ tall x 7 1/4″ x 4 1/2. Weighs 4 pounds 9 ounces (prior to packaging).
