Strikes on the hour and half hour. It’s been in my personal collection and has been running fine for years. The face is clean, the top of the case has some wear on the wood. This is one of Seth Thomas early miniature Ogee clocks finished in rosewood. The clock is in great shape with only slight losses. It’s a pretty early clock and the condition is better than should be expected. This one uses Seth Thomas’ less seen round plate movement. The clock is mostly untested but it was wound and allowed to run as it was being listed. It ticked and when the hands were cycled it chimed. This is an early and rare clock and in great shape. It’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!

Advertising for THE SOLID STEEL CO. Steel Castings out of Alliance O. NICKEL PLATED with very thick glass front. THE SECOND HAND, HOUR HAND, AND MINUTE HAND ALL WORK AS THEY SHOULD. Some wear on nickel finish which gives it a fantastic appearance. It may need mechanically adjusted/cleaned as do all antique clocks. No cracks or chips in glass. If you are not familiar with pendulum clocks, you may want to get it professionally adjusted.
