Antique Eco Magneto / Seth Thomas Master Clock Rare Solid 1/4 Sawn Oak Case. This is a nice condition Master Clock made by The Eco Magneto Clock Co, Chicago, USA and the Seth Thomas Clock Co. In Thomaston, Connecticut, USA. This clock features the original signed Seth Thomas movement which is not running, but is complete and ticks with pressure applied. It comes with a parts mechanism that is missing the balance wheel, but has many, useful parts still intact. The solid quarter sawn oak case is in nice condition. The original finish is aged and worn, but still nice looking. The original glass with gold leaf lettering is in pretty good condition. The gold lettering is well preserved. The black painted background is aged and flaking, but would be fairly easy to restore. It is probably not far from one of a kind or museum piece. The measurements are 15 1/2″ wide x 18″ high x 9 deep. This clock comes complete with the key. This helps ensure that the new owner will have a satisfying experience. Antique Seth Thomas Program Master Wall Clock Key Wind Complete Running Condition. This seems to be a pretty rare clock since I was unable to find another anything like it on the internet. Looks like it has everything needed inside to make the program part of it functional but see photos as Im not sure. The movement was missing the Geneva stops when I got it so I dont have them but it was just completely disassembled, cleaned and oiled so should be ready to run for years to come. Theres a little instruction sheet inside that says needs winding once a week but it keeps accurate time for at least 2 weeks and will run almost a month on a winding. The winding key also locks and opens both upper and lower doors. Has the seconds bit and all 3 hands are original as well as the dial. The dial is a bit flaky but original. It looks like the cabinet was refinished but it still looks nice. The pendulum is original but has a replacement stick. This is a heavy clock and the cabinet top was about to tear free so I took it apart, cleaned the joints, glued and clamped it then added 2 reinforcement straps on the back, see photo of the back, very solid now. Has 8 blades used to set the program up but you could probably make more if you needed them. Size is approximately 32 tall 14 wide at the very top trim 6 deep at the same.
