Antique 1860s – 1880s Samuel Marti French Clock Movement – See Video. This piece has been tested and is in good working order, i wound it up a little bit and let it run out it ran for over a day. Maybe just an oiling and a look over but it seems like its ready to go in a housing. Please understand i do not know the service history of this clock and service may be required in the future for long term optimal operation. Features – The face is 4″ in diameter with the closure door open, 4 1/8″ with it closed and housing entry is 3 3/4 – Video shows half hour and hour strikes, no pendulum to test it with, but it ran without one- Porcelain dial – All brass construction – Stamped marked as seen in the photos. Looks like everything is here see all photos. Condition is as seen – Please see ALL photos you be the judge – Superb example – NO corrosion, or damage. Chimes the half hour and full hour on a wire gong. Dimensions: 8 1/2 inches wide, 13 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches deep. Clock is in running condition. This is an 8 day clock comes with a key. Antique clocks are expected to have imperfections from age that just add character to the clock. I will try to describe the item the best possible way.
