Seth Thomas WWII US Navy Mark I Boat Clock 1941, Chrome finish, complete with original mounting plate. Used on PT Boats and Submarines. Runs and keeps good time. Dial and Chrome are in good shape. Comes with key and Oak wall mount. Dimensions: The case is 6 inches at its widest and 3.5 inches deep, the dial is approximately 3 3/4 inches. Note that WWII military clocks often contain radium on their dials for luminescence. Use appropriate caution if dismantling or servicing.

Deck clock in good condition. My dad believed this was off the USS Flasher. Upon removing the movement, the serial number is off by 1 digit from the one written on the tag. The number could have been misread, and this is the clock from the crew’s quarters but there is no way to be sure. My Dad passed last year and no doubt new of the discrepancy on the inventory tag and believed this to be off that sub. Either way it’s a beautiful piece of history.

This has a great look to it and has been kept in good vintage condition. There may be some scratching or surface wear from age which is to be expected. Seth Thomas Mark I – Deck Clock Black US Navy Bakelite Exterior U. Pretty vintage and old. I have no idea how to get it to work. Looks to be bakelite, but not sure. Looks to be in great condition. Some marks here and there and many scratches on the front glass. Rust marks on the chains and metal. I was told it was it was from the USS Wyoming. No way to confirm that.

World War II Seth Thomas Mark I 1941 Bakelite US NAVY Deck MARITIME Clock. World War II era Seth Thomas Mark I Key wind Navy deck clock, dated 1941. Measures 8 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ x 4 tall. Mark I – Deck Clock, U. Navy N 35015 1941 on face. There is a screw lock on one side of the case, when undone it allows the body of the clock to move forward on a pin pivot, which reveals an original key hanging from the mounting plate, and allowing access to the rods for setting and winding. Came from a local estate. DOES NOT have the key. 6″ wide at the widest point and almost 4″ deep. Face is silver colored but I think the black paint is gone as there is a little bit of it near the 1 and 2. Normal usage wear, some light paint chips here and there, glass is a little dirty.
