Antique Seth Thomas Mantle Clock Adamantine 6 Pillar Lion Heads and a vintage architectural design and victorian aesthetic. I allow this clock to run for 24 hours it chimed on the half hour and the number of hours. I will add a winding key. Please review the detailed attached detail pictures for condition of this item. Measuring 11.5″ tall, 17″ across and 6.5 deep. The case is in very good condition with very few marks. The finish is in very good condition. The case hardware appears to be in good condition. The 4.5 metal dial appears in good condition with minor aging. The hinged 5.5 bezel and glass are in very good condition. Designed to strike on a bell every half hour and on a gong every full hour.

This Seth Thomas Mantle Clock features a dark mahogany finish and is designed in the tambour or “napoleon hat” style. Clock is 16.25″ wide at base and 9″ tall. Working condition when wound up. (See videos) Just not sure if the number of “dongs” is correct. It is likely from the early 1900s to 1920s and may have an 8-day mechanical movement. Similar models often feature time-and-strike functionality, though they may require a winding key to operate. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. Condition as shown in photos. There is one knob foot missing from the bottom. Includes pendulum bob and key. Has personal inscription on the back door showing that it was a gift given in 1921.

Up for sale is a stunning Seth Thomas Adamantine mantle clock in the highly sought-after Burl Walnut marbled brown finish. This patented celluloid veneer replicates the rich grain of burl wood and has maintained its deep luster for over a century. Features classic architectural styling with ornate lion head side handles and decorative pillars. Movement: Original Seth Thomas 89C movement. Timekeeping: The clock is in running condition and keeps time well. Strike Function: 8-day time and strike mechanism. Note on Strike: When fully wound, the strike side runs continuously. Once the tension settles, it strikes the hour and half-hour correctly. This is a common adjustment issue often solved by a professional cleaning or a minor lever tweak. Key/Pendulum: Includes the original pendulum. No key is included, but it has been tested with a Size #5 key. Exterior & Structural Condition. Case: The Burl Walnut finish is in excellent antique condition with beautiful marbling. Hinge Repair Needed: The front brass bezel hinge is broken and requires repair (please see close-up photos). Currently, the bezel does not stay properly aligned/attached at the hinge point. Hardware: The brass-tone feet and lion handles show a lovely, authentic aged patina.

Antique Seth Thomas “Beehive” 8 Day Time & Strike Mantle Clock Runs and Gongs. View My Other Items For Sale. This nice old clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston, Conn. USA during the 1920’s. This model features a signed Seth Thomas #120 keywind, pendulum movement that is in good running condition, keeping time and gonging properly. It counts each hour on a quality flat steel gong and announces each half hour with a single toll. It is very easy to re-install. Simply place the threaded post through the hole in the bottom of the clock, line the gong up under the hammer and screw on the nut and washer underneath. It has the nice old signed Seth Thomas silvered dial that is in good aged condition, showing normal signs of age and wear. The case is also very nice looking. It measures 7 ¼” wide x 1o” high x 5 deep so is the perfect size for a bookcase, small shelf, desk, etc. This clock comes complete with the original key and pendulum. This helps ensure that the new owner will have a satisfying experience. Be very sure to save all packaging material if there is a problem. All sales are final, so please be sure that you will be happy by reviewing the pictures and descriptions that we provide. We honestly want you to be happy. It is nearly impossible to find one in “mint” condition. If a clock has damage from misuse, it will be noted. SETH THOMAS MANTLE CLOCK. Up for sale is a Seth Thomas Adamantine mantle clock. This is an amazing piece and looks great! Self admittedly, mantle clocks aren’t our thing so we don’t have the knowhow to attempt to get this up and running. It shows light signs of wear, but overall is super nice for the age! We are Tattooed Thrifters, a Virginia based couple who loves a good find! Vacations, tattoos, and a small addiction to Halloween decorations. All are expensive and this is a fun way for us to take the financial edge off. We don’t have an instagram-worthy story about quitting our full-time nursing jobs or leaving corporate to start a flipping business – this is just a side hustle (which sometimes feels like a full-time hustle).
