TESTED Working Seth Thomas’ Sons & Co. New York, NY, No. 8051, 8 day, time and strike spring driven brass movement figural shelf clock Maidens Musician & Artist. Watch the video to hear the delicate bell strike for the hour and half hour. The cast metal cases were most likely made by Mitchell Vance & Co. New York and supplied to Seth Thomas. Their catalog offered clocks made by Seth Thomas with cases made by them. Condition: Cast spelter case retains most of it’s bronze finish, but has a small scratch on the center column. Original porcelain dial in very good Condition Roman Numerals. Back access door is original. Heavy Beveled Glass to cover Dial. Dimensions: 12.5in x 19in x 4.5in Circa: 1872in Original condition, has a several small scratches or chip on the paint, one of the leveling legs is bent, but in very good condition over all, the key is a Seth Thomas replica. The Clock has been Tested for 10 days, Cleaned and oiled mechanism, Works and keeps accurate time.

The 18 size case of this stunning Seth Thomas Maiden Lane is in excellent condition. The lever-set, 25 jewel, 2 tone movement has a absolutely stunning inverse floral ring pattern engraved on the movement plates. The dial is in excellent condition overall but does have a very small chip near the 10 and appears to have four extremely light hairlines, two just below the base of the hands and two above base of the hands extending to approximately the 11 and the 12. Lastly, the crystal is in excellent condition and appears to be free of any major scratches.
