This antique Seth Thomas desk clock from 1909 features a long alarm, copper/bronze metal case, and a mechanical movement. This is a highly collectible antique clock. The clock, made in the United States, by by the renown clock makers Seth Thomas. The vase is in great shape for it’s age. The finish is in excellent condition, there is a is a crease in the metal on the side. See pictures for details. The clock winds but does not run. The clock is for decorative use or could be restored. This antique pendulum wall clock with a unique second hand is in very good condition and working. It has some ware from age and use but a minimal amount for being over 100 years old. The Seth Thomas movement is marked with an 80. After research, I think that this clock was made in the late 1800’s though I don’t see any markings on the back indicating the year it was made. It is 32″ tall, 16″ wide and almost 6 thick. The face is 12 in diameter and has a bit of ware on the bottom numbers from the hands, which are loose, that may have been rubbing. This clock has been serviced last in July 2018 and is on my living room wall, and I have never had a wind-up clock keep such perfect time. It is an 8-day movement and I wind it once a week and I really hate to see it go so I would not accept offers. Please view all 12 photos as they are part of this description….
