Antique Circa 1885 Gilbert Leopard Gingerbread Mantle Parlor Clock RUNS – SEE VIDEO – Beautiful Example. Features – Walnut finish – 21.5″ tall X 13.5″ Wide – High Quality example – Decorative door – Original paper on back. Movement – Mechanical – 8 Day – Time & Strike – Marked Gilbert – Movement was cleaned and oiled about 5 years ago by prior owner. Dial – Old Replacement. Operating condition – I have many clocks to test and limited time to do so – Tested – This clock has run for over a day and the strike functions as intended. With all my clocks, if you plan on running this clock consistently i would recommend having the movement cleaned & oiled to better guarantee long term optimal operation, who knows if its ever been done in the last 120+ years (SEE VIDEO). Please understand i do not know the mechanical service history of this clock, and it MAY need service in the future for long term optimal operation.
