Large Antique Seth Thomas Westminster Chime Clock Classic Styling / Serviced. This nice old clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company. This model features a signed Seth Thomas #124 mechanical, keywind, Westminster Chime, pendulum movement that has been serviced and is in good running condition, keeping time and chiming properly. This may have started out life as an electric clock, or at least there is provision for either electric or mechanical movements. In case you are not familiar with Westminster Chimes, these are the ones that play a tune every 15 minutes; 4 notes on the quarter; 8 notes on the ½ hour; 12 notes at the ¾ hour; and then the full 16 note tune on the hour, followed by the hour toll, i. 1 toll at 1:00, 2 tolls at 2:00, etc. The classically styled case is a quite a bit larger than usual and in over all good condition. The case measurements are 21″ wide x 10 ½” high x 7 ½ deep. This clock comes complete with a key and the original pendulum. This helps ensure that the new owner will have a satisfying experience. Be very sure to save all packaging material if there is a problem. All sales are final, so please be sure that you will be happy by reviewing the pictures and descriptions that we provide. We honestly want you to be happy. It is nearly impossible to find one in “mint” condition. If a clock has damage from misuse, it will be noted. Once in awhile we do offer other types of antiques and collectibles for sale, but mainly clocks are what we’re about. We are a very small, family run enterprise.. Ben handles all repairs in house. He has been restoring clocks since 1976, and a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors since 1978. Jen and Lana handle all of the pictures, listings, marketing and design, as well as some of the restoration work. Here is a fantastic working 30 day Seth Thomas arcade clock, first time offered, the previous owners had this refinished and restored, its wonderful, the clock seems to keep good time as well, we have keys (keys are not original to clock) the pendulum is obviously there, I will most pictures of the movement the previous owners had a picture of movement and the back of the dial! They pretty much went over everything on this clock including the back the original iron hanger is there as well.

This has a solid brass inner trim ring that hide the face screws/edge. It adds the beauty to the brass face ring. Which a lot of others do not have. This has a screw on face bezel. Not a hinged door. This was restored in the 90’s. Comes with mounting board. Not currently mount to it. This will be well packaged.
