This clock was made sometime in the mid to late 1800’s, showing its different shades of patina. The clock has a very rich old world look to it showing the old man with beard, and the rich design throughout, with drapery and the columns giving its grandeur look. The dial is made out of beautiful porcelain with red symbols between each number, which is encased with a beveled glass cover that closes nicely. The movements inside this clock has the engraved names of Seth Thomas and R. Kaiser along with the ” ST ” symbol, which was made in New York. The pendulum numbers match the serial number 45883 on the back of the movement and the key has the name of Herschede on it. This solid bronze clock is very heavy weighing a good 24.50 lbs. The clock runs okay and chimes when it should. I do not know how many days it is before you you have to rewind the clock. The item “Rare Antique Bronze Seth Thomas R.
