This is a nice example of of a marine clock made by the famous clock company, Seth Thomas. It is 5 1.2 in diameter. The dial is about 4 1/4 in daimeter. It has a finely made jeweled movement, equal in quality to the highly regarded Chelsea clocks. The clock has been running well.

This is a recent estate find from an avid clock collectors collection that came up for sale. This is a Rare Antique 1920’s SETH THOMAS 8 Day Gothic Art Deco Mantel Shelf Desk Clock. It has a 4 Jeweled 8 Day Brass Mechanical Wind-Up Movement that Winds and Sets from the Rear. The Dial is a Gold Brass Metal Art Deco Dial with Roman Numerals, Signed Seth Thomas 4 Jewels. The Case is a Beautiful Mahogany Footed Wood Case with The Clock Supported by a Pair of Decorative Deco Side Columns. The finish is in great condition and has a very nice vintage crackling appearance to some of it. This is a Very Rare Style and Design Clock, and will make a great addition to your collection! I did wind this and at first it didn’t take off. I leaned the clock back and it has been going ever since. I did wind it again after it stopped and it took right off again. That may be a subject to address. This will be packaged with great care.

Up for sale is. Banjo style wall clock for 8 day winding. The clock contains A200-005 Strike Movement. The clock contains a pendulum ball assembly and winding key. The clock features a mechanical movement powered by a pendulum spring and comes with a key for winding. The clock is crafted from wood, glass, and metal. The eagle on the top of the case is missing. Description: Early 20th c. Bells appear to be sounding out of order. This clock does not come with a key. Measurements: 4 diameter dial. 8 1/4 glass cover including helm handles. 3 1/2 deep clock body. 21″ x 3″ x 5 base Weight: 7lb. Condition: Clock winds and sets well. Bells ring on the hour and half hour, but they may be out of order, as they don’t ring the correct number of times for the hour (5 bells at 9 o’clock, 6 bells at 10 o’clock). Some oxidation spotting on nickel case, but looks as if a thorough polishing would take care of it. Various feint minor scratches to case and dial.
