An extremely rare antique Seth Thomas wall clock find! I don’t know the exact date, but it’s most likely late 1800s. If there are any experts who can give me a more specific date would be appreciated. This is an original Antique 8 Day USA Seth Thomas Schoolhouse Wall Clock. It has a glossy wood finish, glass face, with brass movement, pendulum, and comes with a replacement key. The clock did work. It had been serviced back in the sixties / seventies, and semi recently in the nineties. It’s in good condition with some repairs needed to the small front door (pictured). It is missing one of the tiny screws that hold the glass small door on. It does have the original paper certificate still inside the case showing its age, & having some wear. There is a 299CX written at the top above the mechanical setup (see pictures). The clock has hand painted Roman numerals, Seth Thomas, and Manufactured in the United States Of America written on the face of the clock. This is for your benefit. 21″ Tall x 14″ Wide x 5 Deep.
