For sale is a Hennegen Bates Co/Seth Thomas Sonora Chimes 4 bell beehive clock circa 1910. The movement is an 8 day movement (wind it once a week). The movement is stamped with Made in America. The clock rings on four bells. It chimes on each quarter hour adding to the sweet melody. The walnut case has a small veneer loss at the apex in the back (seen in the photo) and a divet near the top that does not detract from the enjoyment of the clock. The clock has been cleaned, oiled and serviced and was in running condition when it left our store. Our brick and mortar business is the sales and repairs of clocks. All of the clocks have been reconditioned (cleaned, oiled, and serviced) and are in running condition at the time of sale. If a clock should have issues such as it is non-running or there are case repairs, this will be clearly stated in the description and/or shown in the photos. Your clock will also need to be leveled or sst in beat in order to run. Some clocks require a more detailed set up and may require a professional to adjust or set up the clock. This is one of Seth Thomass 5 bell, Sonora chime clocks. The clock has been running and chiming for days without issue. The bells sound nice and the cadence is good. The case is in nice original condition with a few scuffs and a small veneer chip on the top rear of the clock. Its not noticeable from the front of the clock. The movements look clean and must have been maintained at some point. I think this is one of the earlier cases because it utilizes a removable back door. The dial is signed by a Baltimore Jeweler.
