Very nice antique Seth Thomas mantel clock. I cleaned and polished the case and test ran the clock before listing. I have been collecting clocks most of my life and look to pass these off to a good home. Nice black adamantine finish, high polished finish. Eight-day time and strike with Cathedral gong. Comes with key and bob. Clock measures 16 x 7 x 11. All antiques will have normal wear due to age but maintain a very beautiful time piece.

Since it is a used item, it is in good condition overall, although there are some damages and stains. The case is solid mahogany with nice decorative studs. The original logo is still nicely visible on the dial. I bought this watch at an antique store over 25 years ago and enjoyed it hanging on the wall without moving it. Antique Seth Thomas 30 hour clock. Comes with key and pendulum. Runs and strikes the number of hours, these never had the half hour strike. The case is in good original condition with overall wear and tear. The dial is badly flaking and it flakes more every time you touch it. There are a few things you can do to fix the dial, the easiest being to paste a paper image onto the dial, find another one in better condition or just leave it as is. It has a partial paper label inside and an embossed Seth Thomas gong. I’m not sure about the originality of the upper glass or the painting in the bottom but the upper glass is wavy with bubbles so it looks like it’s original and the bottom doesn’t look like it’s ever been messed with so it’s probably original too. Size is approximately 14″ tall x 10″ wide at the base x 4-3/8 deep at the base.
