Maybe just an oiling and a look over but it seems like its ready to go in a housing. Please understand i do not know the service history of this clock and service may be required in the future for long term optimal operation. Features – The face is 4″ in diameter with the closure door open, 4 1/8″ with it closed and housing entry is 3 3/4 – Video shows half hour and hour strikes, no pendulum to test it with, but it ran without one- Porcelain dial – All brass construction – Stamped marked as seen in the photos. Looks like everything is here see all photos. Condition is as seen – Please see ALL photos you be the judge – Superb example – NO corrosion, or damage. This antique French mantle clock is a beautiful addition to any collection. The clock features an open escapement and is made of slate and marble. The clock mechanism is made by Seth Thomas. The clock is not currently running. I think it was wound too tight. I can’t determine why there is a spot on the porcelain face that is distorted as it doesn’t appear to be damaged and is quite solid. Anyways, the clock displays very well and is a beautiful example of an early timepiece.

Up for sale is a very decent but not the fanciest Seth Adamantine in very good condition and runs and chimes as it should and a pretty strong runner. The original dial was very brown and flaking so thats a proper timesavers paper. Everything else seems original except pendulum. Seth Thomas clocks were crafted in nearby Thomaston Ct and are along with Ansonia most sought and collectable. Case sits flat and square. Don’t like it or damaged send it back or lets do a claim, no I don’t want to send it back, don’t want to do a claim but give me a discount or I leave neg FB games. Go find somebody else if that is your gig.
