Inherited from my Father in 1996. This clock had been in my family for as long as I can remember. My father collected clocks and also could fix most any clock. Unfortunately I did not inherit this talent. If you know about these Fashion Clocks, you know the calendar mechanism is very, very touchy. This one was reworked about 5 years ago by a local clockmaker. The Calendar worked until I moved the clock to a different room where it never worked again. Someone with the know-how should be able to get it going again. The works are by Seth Thomas. It counts each hour with a bell sound and each half hour with a single bell. The Walnut Cabinet is is good condition considering its age. Comes with pendulum and key and 3 finials not original to this clock. Thank you for looking.
