Antique Seth Thomas Crossover “COLUMN” T&S and Alarm Shelf Clock – ca 1866. Extensive research was sought after to uncover what this clock is. Ca 1866 – Victorian style Mahogany veneer inlay case, 30-hour, time & strike, Alarm, 2 weight, crank column and cornice shelf clock. Label in excellent condition for age. 7 ½ painted dial. Movement signed “Plymouth Hallow” which makes this a “crossover” clock assembled just after the Civil War. Excellent condition with minor scrapes, rubs, chips, paint flaking. Pictures give the full details of condition. All original including hands, key, pendulum. Crank not original – age appropriate. 25″ H x 13 ½ ” W. 155 years old Pre owned. Shows normal use and wear based on its age. Label has minimal wear. No significant structural damage cracking, splitting, etc. May have minor surface scratches, dings, chips, paint flaking, etc. The wood case retains its original finish with nice patina.
