This is one of Seth Thomas early miniature Ogee clocks finished in rosewood. The clock is in great shape with only slight losses. It’s a pretty early clock and the condition is better than should be expected. This one uses Seth Thomas’ less seen round plate movement. The clock is mostly untested but it was wound and allowed to run as it was being listed. It ticked and when the hands were cycled it chimed. This is an early and rare clock and in great shape. It’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!

Here is a recent estate find. This is a RARE Antique 1892 SETH THOMAS’Lodge’ Victorian Alarm Clock, Made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company Thomaston Conn USA. This Has the Original Paper Over Tin Dial with Seconds Sweep Sub Dial and Alarm Sub Dial, Signed “ST” and “Seth Thomas”, in Very Good Condition! The Case is a Figural’Cottage Shaped’ Nickel and Brass Metal Case with Bottom Bell Alarm. The Clock Movement is a Mechanical Wind-Up Movement with Alarm, That Winds and Sets From the Rear. This is in Good Cosmetic Condition, with Normal Wear From Age, One of the Side Glass Panels is Missing Otherwise Fine! The Clock Has Been Sitting a Long Time and is Dusty. It Needs Lube, Cleaning or Service! 7 1/2″ Tall x 4 1/4″ Wide x 3 3/4 Deep. Don’t pass this one up, I have Never Seen One Like This Before! A stunning Rare Clock!

This is a nice antique Seth Thomas shelf clock. It does run and chime but stops from time to time. The movement needs cleaning as the last date of service is unknown. Key and pendulum included! Antique Circa 1870s Victorian Seth Thomas Cottage Mantle Clock. For similar items related to this check my Clocks section in my store. Operating Condition – This clock operated but only for a few mins, i would expect it needs a good oiling or cleaning, but it seemed to function properly mechanically, chimes tested good. Please understand i don’t know when this clock was last serviced IF EVER and it MAY need service for long term optimal operation. Features – Original dial – Comes with a pendulum and key. Measures 15″ X 12″ X 4 – Hand Painted scene on the door. Case Condition is as seen – Superb example – VERY clean, some wear around the door frame but otherwise the case looks flawless to me, no chips, cracks or damage. Antique Seth Thomas Cottage clock. 9 1/8″ tall, 6 1/2″ wide and 3 1/2 deep. With metal fancy weight 1 1/2 wide. We have no idea if this clock works but still retaines the original Seth Thomas Plymouth Conn. With another paper label over that that reads: J. 160 Main Galena, Ill Watch Makers and Jewelers & c. Very cool local retailed clock. Looks to have been restored with newer metal face, hands and newer gold paint framing the glass. Ask questions but we really don’t know if it works.

It does wind up but ive not figured out how to set it on the center dial. So unknown on alarm. But caae is in great preowned consition and movement as ypu can see in photos great shape.
