Has scratches and wear marks. Top veneer has some minor cracking. Some sun fading on front of top. Been in my family since new. Wonderful antique Seth Thomas wall clock, in simple yet elegant solid oak case. Large size, measures 19 x 23″ overall, with a 12″ diameter face. This clock has been converted to run on a battery, so no more daily winding! We have had it hung and running for days, keeps perfect time. Overall this clock is excellent for its age, metal face is very good with a few minor areas of loss, clean and bright. Oak case has been cleaned and oiled, has a lovely soft patina, beautiful oak. There is about a 1/2 piece missing on top left at back, you would need to compare it to the right side to notice, see last 2 photos. I also noticed two small holes on the bottom part that hangs down, like maybe some further ornamentation used to be attached? As a little plus, the removal of the “works” leaves a lot of empty space inside — would be perfect to hide important papers or jewelry etc. Also, if your country charges an additional tariff, this is your responsibility to pay.
