The mantle clock has a 17 1/2 inch base and is a two tone wood. The clock keeps time and chimes once at the half hour and multiple times depending on what time it is. Two chimes for 2 o’clock, seven chimes for 7 o’clock etc.. The clock is in beautiful condition. I tried to show one small scratch on the glass which ends up on center of the hands, the electrical cord has been replaced with a new one and the clock works great.

This is a beautiful vintage antique mantle clock. This actually came out out of the former mayor of Tampa’s house Williams/Bill it seems to be in working order I have not went through and tested it, but it does come with two keys, no visible damage. I have not tested this. Please anticipate it could not work, but it most likely will from the looks of it. Keep that in mind when purchasing.

Here is a scarce mid century modern Seth Thomas MCM Electric Chiming Clock, very nicely preserved from the 1960’s -70’s, pictured. Clock has good original electric cord and still works well, striking hours and half hours, not tested for accuracy. With age associated wear and tarnish to polished brass surfaces. Vintage 8 Day Seth Thomas Key Wind Chiming Mantel Clock Sentinel 3 Runs 30min. The clock will run for about 30 minutes and then stop. If you give the pendulum a little push, it will run about 30 minutes again. It does chime when it comes around. Has some scratches to the case. Includes pendulum but no key. Antique Seth Thomas Quarter Hour Chiming Mantle Clock In Running Condition. This is a very nice looking mantle clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. In the USA that features a very high quality #89 eight day time and quarter hour chime movement. It is in good running condition, keeping time and chiming properly. It is a fairly rare model, the #89L, that is a quarter hour chiming movement. It chimes by striking two chime rods in alternating sequence. On the quarter hour it chimes one double alternating chime, on the half hour it chimes two sets of alternating chimes, on the three quarter hour it chimes three sets of alternating chimes, and then on the hour it counts the number of the hour with single chimes… If it were 8:00, it would chime 8 single chimes, etc. Timeless in styling, this clock has already lasted nearly 100 years and with proper care should easily last another hundred. The signed silvered dial and solid brass bezel assembly is in good condition. The silvered dial is nicely shaded and worn, giving it a genuine antique appearance. It also comes with the original and scarce to find “ST” hands. The clock case itself is also in good condition. The original finish is very nice for as old as it is. 17 ½ ” long x 9 ½” high x 6 ¼ deep. This clock is in overall good condition and would make a lovely addition to any home or antique shop. Another excellent investment, as Seth Thomas clocks in any condition are highly sought after. This clock is ready to place on your mantle and be enjoyed while it escalates in value.
