Antique 1890s Seth Thomas Wooden Celluloid Adamantine Wood Grain Mantel Clock. The tag on the back is worn, and their our notes written on back of clock panel. Wood is in good condition and is a beautiful color. The chime for 1/2 hour worked when I bought it. But when i got it home it quit working. I started it again and I could hear the mechanism move but no sound. The hourly chime is loud and works well. There is no wind key for this clock. Base side to side 14. Top side to side 12 3/4. Top front to back 5 1/2. Base front to back 5 3/4.

No key but it does wind without issues. (I only have the one key and it is from my grandfathers clock-) The wind on the left hand side will slip if wound to fast – but will wind if you turn slowly. Seth Thomas 8 day time and strike clock movement. This model stamped 89AD was used in adamantine and wooden cased mantel clocks starting in c. 1915 and into the c. This is a wonderful and very stunning Seth Thomas adamantine clock. This clock runs well and chimes loudly and with great resonance. This clock is in good condition with good glass and a solid face. There is a burn mark on the top and the back protrudes slightly further than it should but this is an older clock and these sorts of things are to be expected. This is a stunning clock with a large presence measuring in at 17.5 x 12 x 7.5. This clock has wonderful celluloid columns, one of which is a bit loose but just needs to be tightened.
