The mantle clock has a 17 1/2 inch base and is a two tone wood. The clock keeps time and chimes once at the half hour and multiple times depending on what time it is. Two chimes for 2 o’clock, seven chimes for 7 o’clock etc.. The clock is in beautiful condition. I tried to show one small scratch on the glass which ends up on center of the hands, the electrical cord has been replaced with a new one and the clock works great.

This antique Seth Thomas desk clock from 1909 features a long alarm, copper/bronze metal case, and a mechanical movement. This is a highly collectible antique clock. The clock, made in the United States, by by the renown clock makers Seth Thomas. The vase is in great shape for it’s age. The finish is in excellent condition, there is a is a crease in the metal on the side. See pictures for details. The clock winds but does not run. The clock is for decorative use or could be restored. This is a nice vintage antique Seth Thomas USA metal case alarm mantel / shelf clock. I think it has been overwound because the keys will not turn. If I move the clock from side to side it will start to tick. In decent condition as the pics show with some cosmetic wear and some dings to the metal and it comes exactly as shown. It measures 7″ x 3″ at the base and is 9 tall.

Vintage Seth Thomas mantel clock featuring a beautiful wood case with pointed steeple accents and floral hand-painted details on the dial and lower glass door. Condition: Good vintage condition; case shows minor scuffs, edge wear, scratches, and some finish loss appropriate for age (see photos). Some marks and dust visible inside, and wear/spots on back. Please review all photos for close-ups of condition details. Clock face displays’Seth Thomas’ branding and’German Movt. (German movement) printed at the bottom of the dial. Traditional Roman numeral face with ornate vintage-style clock hands. Lower door features an oval glass panel with painted wreath and flowers revealing the brass pendulum. Pendulum and winding mechanism present inside. No winding key is shown/included. Approximate measurements: 16.5 inches tall x 9.25 inches wide x 4.75 inches deep (see measurement photos for reference).
