Seth Thomas “PARMA” 8 day Time and Strike. Fantastic Movement Excellent condition. Appears previous owner had it professionally cleaned and serviced not long ago. The case is sound. The finish is slightly crackled and a few dings and bumps. Flame Mahogany with beautiful Inlays. Case would benefit from a good polish. Dial looks real good, we do not see any chips or cracks. Up for sale is this Rare Antique Seth Thomas Boston Model City Series Parlor Mantle Clock. Case shows a fair amount of wear, rubs and scratches. I believe two finials are replaced and the third is damaged. The dial pushes in a bit when you insert the key, needs a little solder at the bottom. One of the Geneva springs stops has been removed. I don’t know how accurate it keeps time and I also do not know if its supposed to have a bell. I have not heard a bell in the time I have had it. It does not come with the winding key. It has some denting and surface wear to the brass and some of the detailing on the face has rubbed off. The Seth Thomas name is almost completely rubbed away leaving just part of the S and E.
