Seth Thomas WWII US Navy Mark I Boat Clock 1941, Chrome finish, complete with original mounting plate. Used on PT Boats and Submarines. Runs and keeps good time. Dial and Chrome are in good shape. Comes with key and Oak wall mount. Dimensions: The case is 6 inches at its widest and 3.5 inches deep, the dial is approximately 3 3/4 inches. Note that WWII military clocks often contain radium on their dials for luminescence. Use appropriate caution if dismantling or servicing.

Antique Seth Thomas U. NAVY BOAT CLOCK great for restoration needs. The case has its original unpolished patina. There Is an old bump on the ring. The glass has multiple cracks. The clock dial is loose and missing the key and clock hands. Sounds like there is something loose inside that slides around when you tilt it. This will make a worthy restoration project. This has a great look to it and has been kept in good vintage condition. There may be some scratching or surface wear from age which is to be expected. Please see all photos for details and feel free to ask any questions. This piece measure roughly 5″ by 4″ tall. This piece does not come with the key. Came from a local estate. DOES NOT have the key. 6″ wide at the widest point and almost 4″ deep. Face is silver colored but I think the black paint is gone as there is a little bit of it near the 1 and 2. Normal usage wear, some light paint chips here and there, glass is a little dirty.

It is in good/okay vintage condition with normal wear from use. It does have some finish wear and discoloration/tarnishing from age. There is also a ding/bend (see pic) on the outer ring. It is marked SETH THOMAS and GERMAN MOVT inside. Also marked on back CORSAIR E537-000 and SETH THOMAS, DIV. OF GENERAL TIME CORP. Comes with original key and original SETH THOMAS wood clock stand (can still see part of the sticker). Stand has some scuffs, wear, etc. This clock weighs almost 4 lbs with stand. The clock works as it should and keeps accurate time. The clock has scuffs and scrapes and patina indicative of its age. There are also traces of red paint on the housing. The face of the clock has the following words and numbers on it; Mark I – Boat Clock US Navy, N 20645, 1942 Made by Seth Thomas in U. The clock key is also included. The following words and numbers are inscribed on the key; West-Germany HR752 280.
