Rare Antique Seth Thomas U. I heard that it was made nearly 70 to 100 years ago. Wind-up style, glass windshield, it moves smoothly when you wind it up. The green coloring and form are rare. The time difference is barely noticeable. You can use it without any problems by turning the mainspring, but please be aware that there may be some time differences. Also, since it is an old item, please junk it in terms of operation. Since this is a vintage item, there may be scratches, dirt, and peeling paint. Recommended for those who like old things. Has “K478″ impressed on the back of the case. Maritime Commission in 1936. The bezel is securely attached to the rest of the case. Flat glass in the bezel is intact. Just some minor surface scratching to the glass, no cracks or blistering. The clock has been running since we acquired it. This is a time only clock. The spring feels sound on the movement when keyed. The clock will come with a wind key. The clock face shows some discoloration, fading, and cracking from age and is intact. The clock has both its’ minute and hour hands as well as the seconds hand. Brass case is 16-15/16″ across, by 3-7/16″ tall. The face is 5-9/16 across.
