You are looking at a beautiful Seth Thomas Burl Wood clock. The key is with it and I wound it. I tried to start the pendulum, but not sure if it is on correctly, so from fear of overwinding or breaking something I left it be. Photo #9 shows a couple of rough spots on the top back edge with a coin between them. The brass or copper is tarnished. This measures approximately 16 1/2 x 7″ deep x 10 3/4″. PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AT ALL 16 PICTURES AS PART OF THE DESCRIPTION AND TO DETERMINE THE ACTUAL CONDITION. Thanks for looking, Karla.

Operating condition – I have many clocks to test and limited time to do so – Tested – This clock runs good i ran for 2+ hours. The clock wound easy on both sides and kept good time during operation – Prior owner fully went over this clock had a check list inside, its been fully serviced in 2020 (See Video). Please understand i do not know the mechanical service history of this clock, and it MAY need service in the future for long term optimal operation. It needs servicing and adjustment however. It runs and strikes randomly once or a few times, definitely needs a “doctor”. Dimensions: 16″ wide, 11 3/4″ tall and 6.5 deep. Up for consideration is a Seth Thomas Adamantine mantle clock circa 1880 model #102. It is decorated with green faux marble accents with elaborate brass columns, and brass Lion’s head handles on both sides. The clock measures approx. 16 1/2 inches wide 11 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches deep. The clock DOES NOT come with a key. When the pendulum is removed and the lever at the top is pulled the clock will run its full course. In other words the hands rapidly turn as it winds down. So, there is no problem with the clock winding and running. Cosmetically the clock looks very nice. Please view the pictures for your own opinion.
