This antique Seth Thomas Adamantine mantle clock features lion head accents and a pillar design. Fully functional and dating back to the 1880s, it’s a timeless piece for collectors and home decor enthusiasts. This clock comes with a pendulum and a key. It measures 14.5×6.5″ and is 11″ tall. I did get this clock running. It does run for a couple days as well. However it does not keep accurate time. Also because I do not know how to set the clock to the right chimes. The chime are off a bit for the hour and half hour, but it does chime. The face is a bit ageed and there is some newer scres hadded to secure the back. One foot on the underside has some oxidation. The wood case is in really great preserved condition. Antique 1880s design. Seth Thomas brand. Working condition. Pillar mantle style. Lion head accents. Adamantine finish Condition: Pre-Owned Good.

This tells me the movement needs a cleaning or oiling, who knows if it have ever been done in the last 140ish years. But once done should run well – Alarm functions as intended when tested – (SEE VIDEO) This clock will need a cleaning / service for long term proper operation and with the condition its in is certainly deserving of that.
