Lovely early clock, nice label and comes with door and winding keys. There is a label on back from The Moon Dial in Kennet Sq from 1984 saying movement overhauled and case polished. See tape measure for dimensions. I let it run for 12 hours with no issues. Case shows age and some repair to veneer. Reverse painted tablet has been touched up. There is still losses to the paint and still some bubbles that may come loose off glass. There is a crack in the bone keyhole escutcheon. The only reason you see wire connecting weights to string is that someone removed the weights and wound the hooks all the way to the top and that was the only way I could attach the weights without having to fiddle with movement to release the strings, they will no longer be necessary.
