This is a beautiful antique Seth Thomas Adamantine mantel clock, dating back to the late 19th century. It features the iconic Adamantine finish with striking green faux-marble celluloid accents and four cream-colored columns topped with ornate Corinthian capitals. The clock sits on decorative brass lion-paw style feet and features a classic Roman numeral dial. The back retains a portion of its original paper label and shows a brass movement door with the &#######x27;ST&#######x27; logo. Inside, the mechanical movement is visible, including the bell and gong. A handwritten service note on the interior door indicates it was cleaned in 1997. It will chime if you rotate the dial, I imagine it needs service.

This clock is in decent cosmetic condition for its age. The clock was made around the 1920s. The clock keeps good time and chimes at the half hour and hour. The movement has been disassembled, cleaned, had several bushings installed, reassembled, and properly oiled. It runs for the full 8 days. There are 2 keys included with this clock. One for winding the clock, and then a second smaller one for the speed adjuster. Please inspect all the HD pictures closely. The clock is 20″ wide, 5 and a half inches deep, and 9″ tall.
