It is tastefully painted with an attractive roman numeral clock face. It has winder cranks and weights present. This clock is in nice cosmetic condition for its age. The exact year of manufacture is unknown, but based on the movement and the clock design, it would have been from the very early 1900s. The clock has a Seth Thomas 120 series movement, which was one of their best movements. The movement has been disassembled, had several bushings installed, washed, reassembled, and runs for the full 8 days and keeps VERY good time. The clock chimes at the half hour and hour. Please inspect all the HD pictures closely. The clock is 8 and a quarter inches wide, just over 5″ deep, and 10″ tall. If you have no experience with using mechanical clocks, I would kindly prefer that you refrain from purchasing this clock. Mechanical clocks are complex timepieces that are not plug n’ play devices.

There is an eight-day, spring-powered movement that strikes the hours on a wire gong. The movement is marked with the ST Logo and made in U. America and also 14 H. Beautiful antique Seth Thomas mantel clock. Circa early 20th century, roughly 100 years old. Clock works fine – both spring mechanisms wind perfectly (time – counter clockwise, chime clockwise). Note winding in incorrect direction will disable spring. 8 Day clock winds perfectly. Middle key setting on face adjusts time faster/slower and will require some fine tuning to correct time. I found it was off by about 1-2 minutes per day. Mechanisms seem to be in great working order. Includes pendulum and key. Clock measures 10″ tall x 19″ wide x 5 1/2 deep.
