This is a beautiful vintage Seth Thomas Westminster Chime 8-Day Mantel/Shelf Clock. It is Tambour Shape clock. I think it is Model 59. It has a silver tone dial. The face is marked “Made by Seth Thomas in USA”. On the back of the clock works is’Made in USA” “ST” mark and “119A. There is silent/chime lever on the back. This is a lovely case clock in excellent vintage condition. It winds and keeps time nicely, and chimes beautifully. The wood case is in excellent vintage condition, no chips, no cracks, no damage. Based on the label and some research I believe this clock is 1905 or 1906. Measures 15″ x 6″ x 11 and weighs 8 pounds. Original, full label on the back. The clock does’tick tock’. It runs eight days like it should and is in good condition; some of the decorative trim is missing in front and a little on 1 side (see enlarged photos of) and there are a few scratches which is to be expected for its age.
