Clock Violin Seth Thomas Reproduction- antique. This reproduction Seth Thomas Violin Clock is made of walnut and as you can see in the photos has aged well with an amazing patina! The grain in the walnut is beautiful. The door is hinged on the right side and latches from the left. The glass is decorated with gold depicting musical staffs and sheet music. The detail on this clock is also beautiful with carvings which were applied to the front surfaces and are in excellent original condition. The head stock of the violin neck is also hand carved. There is repaired damage on the back side of the head stock that is hardly visible from the front view of this clock. The Violin clock is upright on a base and can sit on a mantle or be hung on a wall. This violin clock is in excellent running condition. It comes with a pendulum and a key. The clock measures 30-1/2 inches tall overall, 14-3/4 inches wide at its base and 5-1/2 inches deep at its base, it is in great mechanical shape and runs very well since I bought it, strikes on the hour.
