It has a Beautiful Large Classic Style Footed Gilt Brass and Beveled Glass Case with Heavy Decorative Base with Matching Top with Art Nouveau Designs in High Relief. This Has a Clean Porcelain Dial with Arabic Style Numerals, Signed “Seth Thomas”. This Clock has a Seth Thomas Round Brass Mechanical 8 Day “Time and Strike” Key Wound Movement, with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime. It is Signed “ST USA 48N”. There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Correct Glass Vial Regulator Pendulum. The Clock Measures approx. 12″ Tall x 7 1/2″ Wide x 6 1/4 Deep. Antique Seth Thomas 30-Hour Mantel / Shelf Clock. Fully tested and working. The clock runs properly and the strike mechanism functions correctly. Both the time and strike trains have been tested. Original Seth Thomas movement. Decorative wood case with turned side columns. Good antique condition for its age. Normal wear, scratches, and finish wear from age and use. Interior Seth Thomas paper label shows age-related deterioration. Minor veneer loss/chips on the lower front base and other small age-related imperfections (see photos). Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. The clock has been tested and is currently running and striking correctly. Due to the age of antique mechanical clocks, future adjustment, cleaning, or servicing may be required for long-term accuracy.

SETH THOMAS MANTLE CLOCK. Up for sale is a Seth Thomas Adamantine mantle clock. This is an amazing piece and looks great! Self admittedly, mantle clocks aren’t our thing so we don’t have the knowhow to attempt to get this up and running. It shows light signs of wear, but overall is super nice for the age! We are Tattooed Thrifters, a Virginia based couple who loves a good find! Vacations, tattoos, and a small addiction to Halloween decorations. All are expensive and this is a fun way for us to take the financial edge off. We don’t have an instagram-worthy story about quitting our full-time nursing jobs or leaving corporate to start a flipping business – this is just a side hustle (which sometimes feels like a full-time hustle). We literally just want nice ink, the best house on the block come Halloween, and some down time in cool places. Antique Seth Thomas 24 Schoolhouse Clock Late 1800s Connecticut Painted Green. In Very Good to Excellent overall condition. Winds and runs great. Keeps accurate time, especially for a clock of this age, but will need adjusting weekly. Has a nice patina on the brass. The joint holding the glass and brass casing is loose. Glass is whole with no cracks but has a few minor blemishes. Wood is in good shape but has some indents, surface cracks / splits and chipping / flaking paint. This clock has been painted Green on the front, top, bottom and sides… I’m not sure if there is any significance to this such as school colors, or the previous owner just likes Green. Either way you can easily see the brush marks. Signature required for those with less than 20 Feedback. Board / Card games, Telescopes, Software, Clothing or Collectible / Limited Edition items. If battery is included, I make no guarantee on battery life. On occasion an item may have a description where something differs from what’s pictured.
