Originally patented in 1921. This movement is stamped 115 D 4703 with the Made in USA ST geometric stamp. Ad by Seth Thomas Reads. Silverplated dial has numerals etched in black. Precision made 11-jeweled movement with temperature compensated escapement and Breguet hair-spring. 5? Back Diameter. 5? Face frame Diameter. Weighs 5 lbs 13 oz. The mechanism was carefully pulled and photographed to determine movement number, but we are not experts in repair and have lightly cleaned exterior parts, and reassembled. Some silverplating remains, and so we have removed dirt and debris and left any remaining plating or patina. There is a spot in the face plate near the 11 numeral that has lost silverplating. Some scuffs and scratches are present on the case from age and storage. No missing screws encountered, and the chime coil is intact.
