Antique Seth Thomas Wood Mantle Clock No 298A 8 Day Half Hour Strikes Parts Only. Depth measurement 4.75 in. See all pictures for details. Is in beautiful condition. The pendulum does work for a few minutes and keeps time. But does slow and stop. Alarm wind up turns well. Alarm will ring and also has sound of the hourly chime, but it is not consistently functioning. Will need someone with antique clock experience to fix and get running correctly. Antique SETH THOMAS 19 CLOCK. This must have been a beauty in it’s glory days! The structure itself is in pretty good condition. Some veneer is peeling at the top and someone has taped it to keep it together. Some of the veneer is missing near the top. The door closes well and the closure on it works well. The face is in bad shape and one of the hands is missing. I think it might be behind the face, but I’m not sure that’s what I see. Antique Seth Thomas Long Drop Regulator Wall Clock Time Only Type Mahogany Case. Measures about 31″ long, 16″ wide and 4 deep. Before I acquired it, it had been in the same family for many decades. It comes from the Elmer Stennes house! The wire holding the pendulum needs to be reattached, otherwise fine vintage complete condition – see my detailed photos. Has “K478″ impressed on the back of the case. Maritime Commission in 1936. The bezel is securely attached to the rest of the case. Flat glass in the bezel is intact.
