Antique Seth Thomas Beehive Wood Mantel Clock with Key & Pendulum WORKS. The glass face cover is missing. Some scratches on wooden case, damage/repair at the 12 o’clock position on the porcelain face (photo 14). Clock works, keeps time and chimes at the 12 & 6 o’clock positions. The mechanism is marked ST 48R (photo 11). Key & Pendulum included. Clock measures 11 1/2″ tall x 7 1/4″ x 4 1/2. Weighs 4 pounds 9 ounces (prior to packaging). This is a rare vintage Seth Thomas Art Deco Blue Mirrored 8 day clock in good working condition. The overall dimensions are 5.75″ by 4.75″ and is about 2.5 deep. The gold numerals are very nice and there is some silver flaking on the inside edge of the face as shown in the photographs. I believe the clock was made with gold-plated numerals and silver-plated interior facing but I couldn’t find andy marking to verify that.
