It is made of brass and originated in the United States. This clock was designed for use in the Navy during the Cold War era. The clock’s maker is Seth Thomas. Crafted by the renowned maker Seth Thomas, this clock is a must-have for any maritime enthusiast. Its functionality is top-notch, ensuring accurate timekeeping for years to come. This piece is perfect for display or use, and is sure to be a conversation starter. Clock are running and keeping good time. Mechanism is very clean. Body is in good condition. No marks, no scratches, glass is perfect. After polishing would be like new. Clock bell 2 times every hour and half an hour. You can regulate speed of the clocks as you can make it silent. It measures overall 7 inches, 6 1/4 -inch dial and the case is 3 1/4 inches deep… Will run for about one day and then stop. Wear to the face, but still nice antique clock.

One movement made by Seth Thomas, Ingraham, and another by Gilbert. The other movement is not marked. The movements appear to be made of brass. Movements could be either for a mantel clocks or wall clocks, not sure which. The movements’ and their corresponding parts show tarnishing and loss of finish in places. Our stock number # 105256-OB. Runs but runs too fast. Mounted on a Brass backplate.

It’s in the original brass case with front glass. The movement is a double Spring movement that is original and well-maintained. However, it will only run sporadically and needs to be cleaned. The case has quite a bit of tarnish and could be polished up considerably. Please check the photos closely for additional details.
