SETH THOMAS MANTLE SHELF TABLE CLOCK WIND UP MADE IN GERMANY WORKS NO KEY VTG. Up for your consideration is this really nice, vintage Seth Thomas mantle clock made in Germany. This beautiful clock features a medium toned matte finish and is most likely made of Walnut. It has a hinged glass front with ornate decorations on the corners and a tiny brass knob. The clock face is brushed brass and has roman numeral numbers around the dial. In the corners are ornate scroll designs with little angel faces in the center of each. There is an oversized base with four decorative feet and the top has an antique brass handle. The works are accessible in the back by sliding the door to the left and it can be removed completely. The works were made in West Germany. It has Two (2) Jewels and is serial #45009 and below that is another # 8706. It has a five bar chime and this clock chimes at the top and the bottom of the hour. Overall it is a beautiful clock and will make a great addition to your mantle of shelf. Please be sure to see all the other items we have listed.
