SETH THOMAS ANTIQUE SHIPS BELL CLOCKSTORED FOR 50YEARS 9.8 EXCELLENT CONDITION. SETH THOMAS VINTAGE SHIPS BELL CHROME CLOCK. Please look at all of the pictures, this clock was stored form 1970s. Was used on a yacht for only 2 years, then stored until only recently, I have been going through many items this is one of the clocks that was with some others. 4 DIAL FACE OVERALL. The moment is made with 7 jewels, made in W Germany. I would rate the overall condition as 9.8 only because on the clock face are a few light marks at both winding shafts. I have tried to show them but they are so very light you may not notice them. This would make a splendid gift for the owner of a boat, yacht or beach house, or your home. I have tested it for operation it is as good as it gets, keeps time very well. Chrome finish is very bright as you can see by the pictures. I have cleaned all of the chrome, shows just about new. With the original Seth Thomas winding key. The bell rings with a maritime charm that made these clocks famous. Two adjustment are on the face, on the right is F. And S timing adjustment. Second adjustment is on the face, on the left STR and SIL for the bell. The ships bells were used for the seamen watch, that is 4 hours. I will include a chart with the clock, so you can keep watch every 4 hours. Packing, the clock will be packed very well, to insure that it will come to you in ready to go condition.
