The item you are looking at is a very rare antique Seth Thomas wooden electric mantle clock with alarm. I don’t know anything about these old clocks. I took many photos to show the clock from every angle. There is some dust on the inside of the clock face (which can be removed) that can be seen in the photos at the bottom of the face. Antique Seth Thomas Mantel Clock. Beautiful clock with metal vents on sides. Top right hand of clock is missing piece of wood, easily remedied. When I first received clock this week, I couldn’t get it to continously tick, I came to realize that the mechanical part was cocked slightly, after grabbing the glass face door, and gently turning it slightly, it’s been continously running now for days keeping good time. The mechanical part inside is round, unlike most which are square, and has an ST and a number 5 on it. It wouldn’t chime at first, but with a couple adjustments, it chimes just fine.
