Vintage SETH THOMAS 14.5 Beehive Shelf Clock 48 0 Movement RUNS / NO PENDULUM. This clock measures 14.5″ tall by 9″ across at the base. The dial is marked Seth Thomas as is the movement inside. Speaking of the movement, it has the code 48 0 (or 48 O) towards the bottom. I wound this up a few turns and it started ticking right away very fast. This Seth Thomas Mantle clock dates to around 1920 and was made in the United States of America. Original 89 movement has been completely overhauled and is in working condition. Movement taken apart, ultrasonically cleaned, repairs made as needed, new springs installed, lubricated and tested. Includes key and pendulum. Cabinet is the original Adamantine / Mahogany finish.
