1910s Antique Seth Thomas Crystal Regulator Mantel Shelf Clock Working Correctly. Displays and performs great. Measures 11tall, 6.5wide and 5.5 deep. The case is in very good condition with no dents or repairs. The glass on all 4 sides has no damage or chips except for left side bottom. There is a minor repair to a chip. The 3.5 porcelain dial is in very good condition with a possibility faint hairline at 9. The adjustable pendulum is original and works correctly with this movement. A turn of the century Seth Thomas French Figural Clock. Slate case with Spelter figural mounts. It has and 8-day brass movement, with bell strikes on the hour and half hour. Nice porcelain dial is in very good condition with only a scratch at the key hole. Heavy bevel glass door also in very good condition with no cracks and chips. Exterior is moderately dirty and dusty throughout. Exterior shows moderate to heavy surface scratching, scuffing, general wear, paint wear and brown discoloration throughout. This clock is huge, I bought it thinking it was a normal size when in fact its nearly as tall as two normal bottles of wine! The casting is sublime, its cold painted and bronzed, the ladies expression is very peaceful and serene, the hair is what I love the most, how it becomes part of the clock and can be seen from all angles. The dial is hand painted and porcelain, this would have been a very expensive piece to had made in its day.
